The National Monuments Service's description

According to National Museum of Ireland records a bowl food vessel is said to have been found in a cist with another unidentified vessel at an unspecified location in Crossakeel townland. (Waddell 1970, 126)

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
