The National Monuments Service's description
On the ground inside the W doorway of the residential tower at the W end of the parish church of Loughcrew (ME015-027----) is the graveslab (dims c. 1.5m x 0.8m) of Elizabeth Duddel dated 1676 with an inscription in false relief (Moore c. 1975, 13). The inscription reads: HERE _IETH THE BOD / YE OF MRS ELIZ_BE__ DVDD / EL WI_ _ TO / _ _ _ HARD D _ _ _EL OF LOGH C / REW WITH HER CH / ILDREN SHE DI / ED THE 7 OF NO / VEMBER AN DOM / 1676
