The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the summit of Slieve na Calliagh, 1.4m WNW of the kerb of Cairn V (ME015-012005-). This is a large upright stone (dims of base 1.6m x 0.15m at S to 0.5m at N) aligned NNE-SSW with an undulating crest (max. H 1.4m). A quartz stone that had been used as a maul was found in digging at the base of the stone (Conwell 1866, 374; 1873, 67; Herity 1974, 243).
