The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a rise in an undulating low-lying landscape and c. 3m N of the fosse of rath (ME008-017001-). This is an upright stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims 0.57m x 0.32m H 1.45m).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
