The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in a low-lying landscape between drumlins. Three fulachta fia were recorded in a NE-SW line in 1968 (SMR file). This is the most southerly and is described as a grass-covered kidney-shaped mound (dims 9m N-S; 9m E-W; max. H 0.5m) with an indentation on the NE side for the location of a trough. Fulacht fia (ME005-52001-) is c. 10m to the NE and (ME006-052002-) is c. 10m beyond that to the NE. Fulachta fia (ME006-13----; ME006-013002-) are c. 100m to the SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
