The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a rise at the SW edge of an undulating plateau. This is a raised circular and grass-covered area (diam. 37m E-W; 33.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 2.7m at S to 3.5m at N) separated by an outer fosse (Wth of top 8-8.5m; ext. D c. 0.5-0.7m) from an outer bank (at W:Wth of base 5.7m; ext. H 1.4m) that is only visible ESE-W-N. The ramp entrance (Wth of base 2.5m) and causeway (Wth of top 2.7m; H 0.8m) area at ESE. The rath (ME005-092----) is immediately to the E.
