The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a W-facing slope, it is described as ‘Lisbane’ – the White Lios – on the OS 6-inch maps. This is an oval grass and rush-covered area (dims 48m NNE-SSW; 34.6m WNW-ESE) defined by an earthen bank incorporated into a field bank (Wth of base 4.6m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.2-1.5m) and hedge. There is no visible fosse and there are modern entrances at SE and W.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
