The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the SE end of a NW-SE ridge. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 28.8m N-S; 27.9m E-W) defined by a slight grass-covered bank (at S: Wth of base 3.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m) that is largely reduced to a scarp (at NE: Wth 2.5m; H 0.7m), but the perimeter is incorporated into a field bank W-N. There is no visible fosse, and the ramp entrance (Wth of base 1.6m) is at S. Archaeological testing (21E0430) by M. McCormick c. 45m to the E at the closest point produced no related material (excavations.ie 2021:205).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
