The National Monuments Service's description
On slight rise, in undulating pasture. Subrectangular area (58m N-S; 76m E-W), enclosed by substantial bank of earth and stone (H 0.2m to 1.3m; Wth 1.8m). Interior contains oratory, burial ground (MA121-065002-) and a series of internal divisions on N side, formed by low banks of earth and stone. Oratory (4.9m N-S; 10.4m E-W), stands on SE side of interior. Originally quite small (4.9m N-S; 5.8m E-W), but a chancel was added to the E end. Only sod-covered foundations of N, E and S walls survive but W end contains a partly damaged trabeate doorway (H 1.8m; Wth 0.6m, at base). Dressed stonework of doorway contrasts with undressed, roughly coursed stonework of remainder. Site dedicated to St. Kieran. Holy well (MA121-065004-) to E.
