The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Circular area (42m N-S; 44m E-W), enclosed by remains of cashel wall, three earthen banks with two intervening fosses. Interior, containing possible souterrain (MA121-033001-), is enclosed by remains of stone wall (H 0.4m; Wth 2.15m) SE to S and W to N. Low inner bank, enclosed by inner fosse (D 2.9m). Middle bank topped with berms (H 0.3m) on inner and outer edges. Outer bank falls 1.4m on exterior face, to terrace or platform feature (H 1.2m above field level; Wth 3.4m). Over one hundred low standing stones (H 1m) set along outer edge of platform. Entrance (Wth 4.4m) with causeway through banks and fosse. May have served a ceremonial function.
