The National Monuments Service's description
In farmyard on E shore of Lough Mask. Built by the deBurgos in 1480; altered and repaired in 1615 and 1618. Tower with tall chimneys. Lower vaulted chamber displaying wickerwork. Other feature include finely-cut gargoyles and two fireplaces, one dated to 1618 (Heyward 1943, 111). Access denied.
