The National Monuments Service's description
Located in a rath (MA112-045----). According to local information, a low sod-covered rise (diam. c. 1m), in the W half of the rath interior, marks the location of a blocked up souterrain. In the past, a gap or cavity was visible here, flanked by two stones, possibly in situ roofing lintels. An ephemeral linear feature, extending to WSW is visible immediately to W of the rise; it may indicated the line of the souterrain.
