The National Monuments Service's description
In a large pasture field, on slightly elevated level ground with a gently undulating fall of ground to NE towards a drain/stream.
A subcircular enclosure (diam. approx. 20-25m), within a field system (MA111-045003), is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (SMR file: CUCAP AYR 74 & 75). It was levelled during land reclamation and there is no visible trace at ground level.
