The National Monuments Service's description

Sited on a low rise with good views, in a broad open expanse of gently undulating grassland, bordered to E and S by a wide meander of the Robe River.
Substantial oval earthen platform (39m N−S; 34.7m E−W) defined by a scarp (H 1.7m at E, 2m at W, 1.6m at N, 1.05m at S; Wth slope 4.5-5m). It is encircled at the base of the scarp by a fosse, evident as a shallow depression (Wth c. 2m at N, c. 3m at W; D 0.35-4m at W) marked by dense nettles.
The platform appears to be built up more on the SE side to compensate for a natural slope; the top is level, except for a gentle slope down from E of centre to E. The enclosing scarp has an eroded degraded break of slope at top and a broadly slumped slope, which is somewhat lower and more broadly sloped at S, possibly indicating the site of an entrance.
In the interior, several narrow elongated surface depressions, obscured by long grass at the time of visit, may be badger setts.
