Formerly pasture, now in grounds of golf club, 500m NE of castle (MA110-056001-). O’Donovan (1838, 77) refers to a battle at Cloonagashel in 1592, in which Bingham defeated the Burkes and afterwards killed fifteen women, each named Mary Burke. No visible surface traces.
