The National Monuments Service's description
Fragmentary ivy-clad remains of tower on a prominent rise, above flood plain of River Robe to S and W. W wall (L 9.4m) containing base batter survives to 1st-floor level, with short return of N wall (L 3m). Tower surrounded by shallow fosse (71m N-S; 20m E-W) (MA110-047002-) which may represent the remains of a bawn.
