The National Monuments Service's description
In an expanse of flat, rush-grown boggy pasture, at the base of a steep SW-facing ridge slope.
A low, sod-covered mound (5.7m E–W; 3.7m N–S) of firm dry ground surrounded by soft, wet ground. It appears to be composed of shattered stone in black, charcoal-rich soil. The SW edge of the mound is clipped by a shallow field drain bordered on its S side by a field fence (Wth 1m; H 0.8m), incorporated into which is burnt stone. Flanking the SE side of the field fence is another deeper field drain (W 2m), in the section face of which a layer of black stony soil is evident.
There are two possible burnt mounds (MA103-078001-; MA103-078002-) c. 5m to SSE, and another burnt mound (MA103-079---) is incorporated into a field fence c. 10 to NW.
