The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a ridge top, close to a graveyard (MA102-042002-). According to local tradition, a mass rock in the vicinity of the graveyard was used to celebrate mass during the Penal Era, as the ridge-top location allowed a strategic view over the surrounding landscape. The mass rock was removed in the past, and its exact form and original location are unknown.
