The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, straddling a natural rise, with good views.
Named ‘Lisbaun’ on the 1838 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps, this probable rath consists of a slightly raised circular area (28.5m E–W; 26.5m N–S) defined by an earthen bank. The bank (Wth 3.5-3.8m; int. H 0.5m at S, 0.8m at N; ext. H 1.7m at S, 2.2m at N) is generally low internally and along much of the E half has been reduced to a scarp. A section (L 3m) at S is faced externally with drystone walling (H 1.6m) as a result of incorporation into a later field boundary, which clipped the rath at SE–S on an NE–SW axis but has since been removed. A field fence that abutted the bank at N has also been removed. The rath is built up on the SE–S side to compensate for the natural slope creating an interior which is relatively level, except for a slight rise in ground level evident in the NW quadrant.
Grass cover in the interior; perimeter ringed with gorse and hawthorn. It is overlooked by a rath (MA102-007----), now levelled, located 135m to NW, and there is another rath (MA102-008----) 125m to NNW.
