The National Monuments Service's description

Located in the centre of Caheer Lough, c. 120m NE of another crannog (MA093-027001-).
When inspected in 1988, the crannog was largely submerged. The perimeter was defined by a double line of wooden stakes. Timbers, part of the crannog structure but largely obscured by mud and silt, were also visible on the lake bed. A large quantity of deer antlers lay scattered on the ground and in the surrounding lake bed. A bush was growing on the highest point.
