The National Monuments Service's description
This record refers to a castle which Knox (1911, 212) describes as follows: ‘Only the site remains of the castle of Belanagare, now called Cashlaun na Drancaddha, a little south-east of Ballyhaunis..’. The nature and exact location of this castle are unknown.
