The National Monuments Service's description

An earthwork in in Carrownluggaun townland was recorded by Knox (1911, 293) as ‘a scarped hill 130 yards [118 m] long by an average of 12 yards [11m] between the scarps. The interscarp space is hogbacked, with more space on the east side, usually the lee side.' The nature of this earthwork is uncertain and its precise location is unknown.
