The National Monuments Service's description

This rath has been partly levelled. It is evident as a slightly raised, circular area (33m N–S; 31.7m E–W) defined by a low, broadly slumped levelled scarp (Wth slope 6.5m; ext. H 0.6m at NW). There are some boulders incorporated into the scarp at NNW but it is unclear if they represent the remains of a primary feature or merely field clearance.
Outside the scarp at NNW–NE, a slight depression marked by a denser growth of thistles may be an infilled fosse. A field wall, on a NE–SW axis, crosses the E half of the interior. To E of this wall, a perpendicular field wall extends to ESE through the SE quadrant of the interior.
The interior to NW of the NE−SW field wall is grass covered; to SE of the wall it is largely engulfed in brambles. A disused sand pit encroaches slightly on the scarp at E.
