The National Monuments Service's description

In a small stand of ash and sycamore trees, in a narrow strip of pasture, bordered to N by a bungalow and to S by farm sheds, located on a low rise in a natural basin of lowlying ground, with gently rising ground to NE. It is overlooked by higher ground at S. Views are restricted on all sides by farm buildings, trees and fences.
Central circular mound (9.5m E–W; 10.4m N–S; H 1.25m at E, 0.9m at W), with a hint of a slightly raised rim around the flattened top. It is compact and well-defined, with a broad, steep external slope, enclosed SW–NE by a fosse (Wth 1.7m) and external bank (Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.2m at W). The fosse and outer bank are well defined, although the bank is rather degraded at N–NE where its external face is incorporated into a field fence. The fosse and outer bank have been levelled at E–S; a slight surface depression at S probably indicates the line of the fosse.
The ringbarrow is fenced off by a field bank at N and by post and wire fences on E, S and W. Immediately to W the ground has been partly quarried out.
