The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, crowns the top of a low rise, in an area of undulating grassland with an expanse of wet land to NE. Views are good but not extensive.
A circular area (diam. 10-11m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 2-2.6m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.4m). The broad, seamless inward slump of the bank produces the impression of a slightly concave interior. The bank is largely sod-covered but appears to be composed of stony earth, incorporating large stones in parts. There is a degraded section/break (Wth c. 2m) at SSE.
Grass-covered, with a single hawthorn at NE.
A mound barrow (MA093-012002-) is located slightly downslope c. 20m to W, and there is a standing stone (MA093-011002-) on a prominent ridge 550m to W.
