The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, located on relatively level ground, at the base of the NE-facing slopes of a cluster of low drumlin-like rises. There are open views to NE. An E-W field fence lies a few meters to N and there is a farmyard immediately to NW.
A circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, but is not shown on the 1917 edition. The enclosure has been partly levelled but can still be traced at ground level. The remains consists of a slightly raised, roughly circular area (19m N–S; 20m E–W) defined by a dilapidated stony scarp (H 0.3-0.4m). The scarp is best defined at N−NE (H 0.9m) where it was built up to compensate for the natural fall of ground, but elsewhere it is degraded and at NW–N is almost entirely levelled. Large stones protrude from the outer face of the scarp at N, forming a rough kerb –this is probably the result of the incorporation of the enclosure into a later E−W field boundary. Stones also protrude randomly from the scarp at NE−S.
The interior is level and grassy. According to local information, it is known as ‘Lisheen’ and was used as a children’s burial ground (MA092-057002-).
