The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located the summit of a hill, the highest point in the locality, with panoramic views to N−NE over flat expanses of bog, to E over Lough Roe and to S−W over a ridge of grassland.
A low flat topped subcircular rise (diam. c. 10m; H 0.45m at S; 1.4m at W−N) of earth and stone defined at S−SW by a low scarp and W−NE by a steeper scarp/slope merging with the natural slope. A straight N−S field wall crosses the E edge, and remnants of a stone wall skirt the mound at W−NW.
