The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on the narrow top of a knoll, with a steep fall of ground on the SW–W and a more gently slope to E. The knoll provides good views in all directions, but is overlooked by a ridge to S.
A sod-covered, roughly circular, stony mound or cairn (diam. 10.5m; H 0.85m at E, 0.75m at W) with a rather flattened top. Stones protrude randomly from beneath the sod. According to local tradition, it is known as ‘Crucalachta’.
