The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on level ground on the margins of the original flood plain of Crossbeg Lough, which is c. 70m to SE but is now drained and converted to pasture. Ground rises gently to NW, with higher ridges to N and NE.
Roughly circular, grass-covered flat-topped rise (diam. 12.5-14m; H 0.6m) with broadly slumping sides. It appears to be largely earthen but incorporates some stones. Growing from the centre of the platform are two hawthorn trees, at the roots of which a heap (diam. 2m; H 0.4m) of loose stone has accumulated.
