The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a slight rise in gently undulating terrain.
Raised circular area (27.5m N–S; 27.3m E–W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5-3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m). The bank is roughly topped with stones in parts, and stones protrude also from the inner face. It is low internally, reduced almost to a scarp in parts at N–NE and SW. A small section has been partly dug away at N. There are numerous small eroded breaks in the bank, with larger breaks at S (Wth 1m) and at WSW (Wth 2.8m), but the location of the original entrance is unclear. The interior ground level appears to be somewhat higher in the N–NW quadrant. There is a slight hollow (diam. c. 2m) roughly in the centre of the interior and ephemeral traces of cultivation ridges on a N–S axis. A property fence, on a NE–SW axis, crosses the NW edge of the interior. The interior is grassy; the perimeter is ringed with hawthorn.
