The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a low NW–SE ridge with a fall of ground to NE. Good views over the surrounding countryside. Listed as ‘enclosure –possible’ in the SMR (1991) and RMP (1997). A not in the SMR file sugguest that there may be an enclosure or ‘ritual hill’ here; no other details are given. There is no visible trace at ground level of an enclosure, but there is a mound barrow (MA082-013002-) here.
