In pasture in the grounds of Ballinamore House, an 18th-century country house (NIAH no 31308003), located on level elevated ground, close to a break of slope where ground falls towards the Geestaun River which is 90m to W.
A rectangular building (14-15m NW−SE; 9-10m NE−SW) is indicated and named 'Cashlankeegh' on 1838 OS 6-inch map; on later map editions it is indicated as 'Cashlankeegh (in Ruins)’.
