The National Monuments Service's description

Located on elevated ground with a fall of ground to N. The rath is now subsumed into the E side of Kiltimagh town, with residential development on all sides.
Raised circular area (32m E–W; 32m N–S) defined by a substantial earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 2m at W; 2.4m at E), and enclosed by a fosse (Wth 3m) with an external bank (Wth c. 2.5m; H c. 0.5m at NE). The outer bank, much of which is engulfed in hawthorn, blackthorn and brambles, appears to be relatively intact SW–NW but on the N and E it has been greatly modified and subsumed into linear property fences. A section at SSE–SW was destroyed during the construction of a housing development immediately to S of the rath, but was subsequently reconstructed.
The original entrance appears to have been at the NNE where there is a gap (Wth 3m) in the inner bank, with a causeway across the fosse. The corresponding gap in the outer bank is blocked by a later property boundary.
The grassy interior has a slight slope down from the centre towards the NE. There is a possible souterrrain (MA080-032001-) close to the bank at S.
