The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a ridge, with excellent view to W over an expanse of boggy ground and N−E over undulating bog and pasture, with the valley of the Glore River to N.
Raised subcircular area (24m N−S; 23m E−W) defined by a scarp (H 1.55m). The scarp has a broad external slump (Wth 3m) on the N arc, but elsewhere has a fairly vertical external face, and at SE−NW it is incorporated into and topped by a later drystone field wall (Wth 1.4m; H 1m). A low earthen plinth (Wth 0.9m; H 0.4m) protrudes from beneath the inner edge of this wall at W, probably a remnant of the original enclosing bank.
Another rath (MA080-020----) is located 100m downslope to N.
