The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located in a flat expanse of flat, rush-grown pasture. This fulacht fia is evident as a low, but clearly defined, grass-covered kidney-shaped mound (16m N–S; 13.5m E–W; H 0.4m), with an elongated central depression (6m E–W; 2m N–S) which opens to the W. The S lobe of the mound is higher and more pronounced that the N, giving the mound a slightly asymmetrical appearance. The mound is composed of a dense concentration of angular stone fragments in a matrix of black charcoal-rich soil.
