The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a cashel (MA074-009----). There is a local tradition of a souterrain in the interior of the cashel. A shallow depression, defined on the S side by a slight N-facing scarp, is evident in the NE quadrant. This may be surface subsidence above a subterranean passage, however, there is no definitive evidence to confirm this. The exact location of the souterrain remains unknown.
