The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on top of an elevation with a fall of ground to S–SW, giving extensive views to S and good views over gently rising ground to N.
Slightly raised, flat-topped, roughly circular area (diam. c. 18m) defined SW−NW by a slight scarp and elsewhere by a broad low slope. According to local information, it is traditionally known as ‘the lios’.
