The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, located on a low rise, affording good views.
Raised, roughly circular area (28.5m NE–SW) defined by an earth and stone bank. The bank (Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.8m at SW) is best preserved at SE–WSW where remnants of an internal stone kerb or facing are visible in parts, and where the steep external slope is enhance by the natural fall of ground. At NW, N-NE and E–SE, it has been incorporated into later field fences; at N this has resulted in the bank being modified into a straight externally stone-faced fence (Wth 1.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.8m).
The interior has been built up on the S–SW to create a level surface and compensate for the natural slope. The perimeter is thickly ringed with blackthorn, hawthorn, hazel and brambles.
There is a ringfort (MA073-019----) 170m to SE.
