The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture, on top of a hill; now within the area of a commercial quarry.
When inspected in 1997, this monument consisted of a roughly circular sod-covered stone cairn (diam. 5m; H 0.5-0.75m), with a central hollow (diam. 2m, D 0.2m). Remnants of a slightly sunken trackway, indicated on 1838 OS map, lay immediately to SW of the cairn.
