The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (MA072-084). According to local information, there is a souterrain in the NW quadrant of the rath. When opened in the past, a subterranean passage, with drystone walls roofed with large slabs, was noted. It appeared to extend to the E. It was later sealed up. A slight rise in ground level marks the location, but no structural remains are now visible.
