The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located in undulating hilly landscape, with a fall of ground to W towards a stream.
A shallow SSW−NNW arc of earthen bank (L c. 15-20m N–S; Wth c. 3.5m; H c. 2m at W; H 1.2m at E) is incorporated into a straight N−S field wall. It is depicted as a kink in the field boundary on the 1931 OS 6-inch map. An irregular heap of field clearance stones projects 6m to E from its S end. Immediately to the E of this, are two smaller heaps (max. dim. 2-3m) of stone and a stony hollow (max. dim. 2m).
According to local tradition, there was a ‘fort’ or possible burial place at this location. It is engulfed in a small stand of blackthorn bushes. There is a rath (MA071-147----) c. 100m to S.
