The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath ((MA071-176----). According to local tradition, there is a souterrain in the rath. The rath has been levelled but its outline can still be partly discerned. In the S half of the interior, there is a shallow surface hollow or subsidence, partly filled with a large stone. This may indicate the souterrain.
