The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a low rise with a gentle slope to W. Good views, especially to W towards the confluence of the Pollagh and Glore Rivers with the Gweestion River.
This rath is shown as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; a penannular, hachured area (diam. 25-30m), open to N, is shown on the 1931 edition.
It has been levelled. The semi-circular arc (diam. c. 24m) of a levelled scarp can be traced S–NW; it is most distinct at NW (H 0.6m) where it mergers with a field fence of earth and stone, which curves very slightly NNW–NNE. A single hawthorn tree stand on the perimeter at SE
