The National Monuments Service's description

According to local tradition, a children’s burial ground known as ‘Lár na Leanabh’ is located at or close to an enclosure (MA071-152----). A hawthorn tree 5m to SE of the enclosure at SE is said to be a sacred tree. An oblong, sod-covered heap (5m NE–SW; 3m NW–SE; H 0.8m) of stones encircles the base of the tree.
