The National Monuments Service's description
In the NE corner of a modern rectangular pasture field, on a roughly N−S ridge, with very good views at W−NW over a broad sweep of lowlying pasture. There is a stream 160m to E.
Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map and on the 1931 edition as a roughly D-shaped area, truncated on the straight side at E by a N−S road.
The remains consist of a roughly D-shaped platform (37.6m N−S; 30m E−W to road) defined on the curving side by a scarp (H 1.6-1.8m), and truncated on the straight E side by a road. The scarp has been cut to the vertical and faced with stone to serve as a field fence; it is topped by a post-and-wire fence and by hawthorn trees and brambles. The S arc now forms the boundary to the garden of a modern house, and there is a small gated break in the scarp at SSW. A narrow eroded break at NNW allows cattle access to the rath interior from the adjoining field. The interior is fairly level, with a slight dip at E. It is grassy and featureless.
