The National Monuments Service's description

In level improved pasture. Recorded as an enclosure – probably a ringfort – with a later field boundary running across the interior from ENE to SW on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (1837) and shown on the slightly later OS 25-inch map (1893) defined by a scarp. A circular area (diam. 25m) is defined by an enclosing scarp (H 0.3m at E; H 0.8m at S; H 1.8m at SE) which is traceable from ENE-SE-S) and is faintly visible at N. A later field boundary overlies the perimeter at SW. The W-half of the interior is generally level while the E-half slopes slightly down towards the E. The field boundary recorded crossing the interior on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (1837) had been removed.
