The National Monuments Service's description

In generally poor quality rush-covered pasture close to the E edge of a recut drain (D 2.3m) which meets a fast-flowing stream c. 15m to the S. Reported as a possible fulacht fia (SMR file). At the reported location, a strip of ground (Wth c. 10m) along the E side of the recut drain has been cleared of overgrowth and immediately E of this cleared strip are  dense pockets of whin scrub. Dredged spoil material on the E edge of the drain averages 2m wide and 0.3m high. There is no visible surface trace of the possible fulacht fia.
