The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on the crest of a prominent drumlin with generally fair views only interrupted by slightly higher ground to the S. A fairly well-preserved circular area (int. diam. 40m) is defined by a broad overgrown inner enclosing bank of earth and stone (int. H 0.15m; Wth 6-7.5m; ext. H 2.7m at N-4m at NE) which has been reduced to a scarp (H 2.6m) along the W. A wide but shallow fosse (Wth 3-6m; D 0.2m) runs outside the inner bank and is best preserved from NNW-N-ENE. A second possible outer enclosing earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 3-4m; ext. H 1.5m) curves from N-ENE and appears to have been incorporated into a later field boundary running WNW-ESE past the monument. The line of this largely levelled outer bank is visible as a scarp along the SW and W. The level interior is becoming overgrown with thorn and briar.
