The National Monuments Service's description

On the E bank of a N-S field drain in low-lying wet and partly overgrown rough grazing near the N foot of a pasture ridge. Reported as a possible fulacht fia (SMR file). Upon inspection, the landowner identified an overgrown stony area with no clearly definable limits as the location of a possible burnt spread. A possible fulacht fia (MA070-047002-) lies c. 24m to the SSE.
