The National Monuments Service's description
In mixed hazel and coniferous woods at the S end of a broad ridge with a narrow strip of improved pasture running N immediately to the N. An overgrown subcircular area (int. diams. 30m E-W; 25m N-S) is defined by a generally uniform broad, earthen bank (av. Wth 6m; int. H 0.6-1.1m; ext. H 1.2-2m) which has been reduced to a scarp (H 2.5m) from E-SSE. The mostly round-topped enclosing bank is heavily burrowed in places and gapped by livestock at SW. A second rath (MA070-032----) is visible c. 110m to the NNE.
